This is Young Hollywood. I'm Jen Cameras. We're sitting here with my absolute favorite band of all time, The Sounds. No, and I'm being dead serious. You guys blew up. I'm from Salt Lake City and we absolutely love you guys. Do you guys like coming to LA? How's the feel here?
We love it here. We always have a good time here in LA and uh, California. We have a lot of friends here and great weather and great people. So we love to be back here.
Is there anything about the LA scene that inspires your music?
Uh, the girls.
Hey, I'm all about that. They are pretty. Does your accent help you with the female scene out in the States?
Yeah.
I would think so too. I need to get one of those. How difficult was it for you guys, obviously being Swedish, to write music in English?
Not that hard. I guess we learn not us, we learn English in school from like seven years old, I think. Really? We started when we were like eleven, maybe. But nowadays they do it even earlier. And I think the difference between maybe like Germany is that they overdub every movie and every TV show like like Mexico or Spain or. But Sweden we keep it with subtitles. Exactly. So we get to hear English from very early age and I think and sometimes I think it's an advantage of not having English as your first language because then you can think a little bit outside the box and you you can experiment a little bit more.
As far as the new album here, you guys are working on a project.
We're going to go back in the studio in about two weeks to record the new albums. And we probably going to record for about two months and then, you know, mix it and hopefully next year.
And we're highly anticipating that. We might play one. Really? Oh, wow. That would be awesome.
Just depends, you know. Just depends on the crowd.
We're going to give you guys a good show. A money. I will be throwing it up. I promise you. Hey, one this time, no coins. Exactly. You guys are very fashion forward. I've obviously looked up to you. My hair is very similar to yours and yours. I just got a cut today. Would you guys ever consider doing a fashion line?
Ooh. You could make a lot of money. Yeah, creating a clothes line. You can make a lot of money. Yeah. Yeah, more like hip hoppers. They they have clients. Nice. Exactly. Entrepreneur. Yeah, you should be like that. That's a good idea.
I seriously think you should. I love when you wear the Chanel breast plate as well, that gold one.
Broken up. It's broken. Oh, man. I had two or three and they're all I think because you carried me off stage once in Berlin. My Chanel was broken.
Oh, you have Chanel as well. You guys are doing a lot better than I thought. That's great. We thank you so much. Obviously, we're the sounds. Maya, Felix, and Jesper. Thank you guys so much. All right, have a good show.
Hey, this is Maya.
