How about a little rockabilly? We are here tonight to celebrate the fact that I have this new album coming out, Ready, Steady, Go, next Tuesday and uh, yeah, this is just sort of the uh, kickoff party. Baby, why you gotta act like that? You're not the girl that I thought I had. I probably describe my style of music, it's stripped down, revved up rock and roll, you know, uh, hot rods and pin-up girls and, it's influenced by the rebels and the greasers of the 50s, you know, uh.

I uh, I was a huge fan of Elvis and Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry and Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats growing up, so I just gravitated towards that style and that culture, so when it comes to my music, that's just what I've always, I've always loved playing, you know.

We recorded this album in Nashville, so I got to go out to Nashville for a couple weeks and record in, you know, basically the music capital of of the country and Brian Setzer came out to to work on the record, one of my guitar heroes, you know, an idol growing up, that was a a dream come true and we just had, you know, some of the best musicians in Nashville playing on it and we rehearsed for five days and then went in and cut the whole record live, so uh, you know, no autotune, no uh, no click track, just kind of a real uh, rock and roll record, the way they're supposed to be made.

You know, the day's overwhelming, you know, you got a bunch of stuff to get together and and put together and everything. Um, but but it's it's exciting, you know, uh, I'm really excited about this record. I'm gonna be playing live tonight, so I'm excited to have uh, everyone listen in to the new songs and see what everybody thinks. So yeah, it's uh, it's exciting. Black hair pink, black hair red, with some black clothes on, she makes me lose my head. I love to entertain people ever since I was a, you know, a baby, you know, four years old, I'd, you know, get up on the coffee table and try and dance like Elvis, just to make people laugh or whatever, I just love any way that I can entertain.

If you would have told my 14-year-old self that I would have an album coming out with Brian Setzer, my guitar idol playing on it, my head would have exploded. So this is uh, it's pretty surreal. It's a lot of hard work, but uh, the harder you work, the luckier you get. So I'm really happy about this moment.
