Hey everyone, it's Michele Marie here with Young Hollywood. I'm here with the boys of Carney. You guys have a very cool, eclectic sound. I mean, it's not just like your traditional rock, you have like blues and so many different elements. But, how do you like to describe it yourself?
Hip hop?
Hip hop? You don't stop.
Well, actually, Zane likes to call it Misterioso.
Someone keeps saying New Classic Rock.
New Classic. Or Nouveau or something or
Well, the nice thing that I've read is that you guys are actually a timeless band. And timeless is timeless is huge, you know?
That's true. That's awesome. I hope that proves to be true. That would be so
We'll see in a few years.
Let's talk about your single, "Love Me Chase Me." I like the title of that because everybody that you love, you want to chase.
Oh, nice. That's usually the girl's point of view, though.
I think you just figured out what those lyrics are about 'cause Reed's been trying
Well, no. I mean, I don't know if he wanted to know what they're about. I I do want to know. I'm I'm just guessing.
This is a bit nebulous, but I I definitely would say in writing the lyrics that it's more like a a portrait of a man going insane.
That sounds very interesting. If you love me, chase me. Oh, girl, I got to, let you, let you, let you go. You're doing some wacky stuff. What was the craziest thing you've ever worn on stage?
Oh, probably no shirt, but I don't know if that's really that crazy.
That's pretty crazy.
I haven't gone with the sock method. I don't think I'm gonna go that far.
Well, I like your style right now. You guys all have great, great style. How would you like to describe it? Do you say it's like seventies inspired or
I think it actually is thrift store inspired fashion, I think. We we we're not rich as you can probably You probably can't tell, 'cause I'm wearing my mom's jewelry. She's a jewelry designer, so it makes me look like I have bling.
Baptist minister, like Tennessee or something.
Right. Yeah, that's your mom's as well. This is my mom's. Actually, you should check out her jewelry at FablesintheAir. com. This is the Harmonika cuff, the Scissorhand cuff, and uh, this is the Dragonball necklace.
We're gonna see on stage. I would like to know what we can expect as far as your energy. What is it like seeing you guys tonight?
Oh, let's do it.
Crack. Crack. Crack. Crack, crack, crack, crack, crack, crack, crack. We eat a lot of candy.
What's your favorite piece of candy?
I don't know. We we tend to get a lot of the sour gummies in the van. I mean it's all fun and games but now I have a cavity.
Now you got to see it. Wow. His head is shocking. You can't even open your mouth. You must have more than one.
It hurts a lot. I can't I shouldn't be talking right now.
We can do like a little bit of um air performance, so you don't know what we look like.
You can do a performance. I I think we all have to do it. I mean, I think you could probably cover it.
Okay, all right, I'll start off with Jonathan. Okay. All right. Okay. And then Reva's over here. Wow. That's not good, right? How about me?
Zane's more like this. Zane's more like
Yeah, I'll show you what I do. I always lift my left leg up for some reason. I go like this. I don't know why. It's an accent.
like Right now, When he gets really enthused, he goes the other direction. He's got the pogo The pogo stick. And and J, you do sometimes go like Sometimes he does the hippy walk, though, too. You do.
What's the hippy walk? I want to see that.
It's like A little bit of the I've seen I've seen I've seen him two-step before. Yeah. Wow. I've seen Jay do this one. He went like this. Like that with the bass in his hand. Can you believe I just did it? Now that's what talents coming out. That's gonna get a applause. Hey. That's Let's all clap for them. Everyone here, it's like four people. Golf clap.
