Welcome to Younghollywood. com.
I'm Asher Book.
This is Wesley Quinn.
Wesley Quinn.
Thanks Asher. I'm Wesley Quinn.
Thanks Wes.
I'm Jared Murillo.
And I'm Niki T. And we are The Factory. Check us out on Hollywood. We love you.
What's up Young Hollywood? It's Michelle Marie. I'm here with the boys of V Factory.
That's right. What's up? What's popping?
You got me love struck. You got me love struck. You got me love struck.
Your single "Love Struck" has done really well. You guys definitely are getting a lot of fan exposure with that song. How's it been for you guys so far?
Well like what you said it just keeps growing. And like everywhere we go we just are attracting new fans and trying to expand and going into new areas and just getting out there. That's all you really can do. We're lucky to have Asher in Fame. Um, Wesley do the Michael Jackson tribute on MTV. He's one of the few lucky ones. Um, Jared's been in the High School Musical. So we've been lucky to kind of branch out a little bit. We're actually missing a member too. He's in um. He's in New York now. He's doing a show, so he's.
Okay.
Ryan Sanborn and Thayne Jasperson and some other people.
That's really cool that you guys all have different backgrounds and you've all been really experienced. So what is it like coming together? I mean what are the different things that you guys do to bring to the table as far as the group?
I guess I bring a lot of the lead vocals, which has been nice. And but we all share a lot in this. And I mean Wesley choreographs all our music. I do most of the like choreography along with Niki.
V Factory. Where did you guys get the name? Um, where does it come from?
Well it started off as The Factory, which is um, we based it off a club it's called The Sound Factory in New York and that's where um a lot of people like Madonna started off there. It was like a big huge kind of ravish kind of night club. So we started off being called The Factory 'cause we're a little older. We wanted a little bit of an edge to it. And then we added the V for a little um to add a little sex to it, a little sexiness.
You guys definitely have the mix of R&B pop sound. How do you like to describe it yourself if you were to say it in your own words?
It's a dancey feel but like you know just music that party and dance to. We have the pop R&B. We have the hip-hop. We have the E-40 on our track, so we got like you know the dancey feel, you know so it's like we try to like and the ballads. I mean we really feel like we try to hit everybody.
Do you guys like being compared to the Backstreet Boys or the N Sync of the world?
I mean you're obviously gonna compare us to them because there's five guys, five guys. But I mean.
How would you say you're different from them if you were to say that?
What is today and more current. But I mean yeah we are five guys that sing and dance but you know we can't really get away from that.
Tell me have you ever been love struck and if you have uh what was that experience and who was it?
Who was it? You wanna know who it was Asher? We got a spot, girl. Ah, I've been love struck many times. But oh what's a good one that never really love struck. Oh let you think for a minute. There's so many. There's so many times I just been like.
Who is your first love?
Oh I mean. We'll actually my first love um she actually got married recently. Six months ago. So it's like okay you know as long as she's happy I'm cool with it.
What teenage girl would you have on your wall when you were when you were younger?
I had Jennifer Love Hewitt. I was a huge Jennifer Love Hewitt fan. So J. J. L. H.
Do you have anyone that you loved?
Uh, Charlize Theron.
Oh really?
Yeah. She's beautiful. On my wall. She's a beautiful girl.
Yeah on your wall.
I had Ken Griffey on my wall. You know like I'm older. Catherine Zeta Jones. Yeah. You know she's fine. You ain't foolin' nobody. Give it to me straight. Girl I know there's somebody else on your plate. No no, you ain't the only one I'm doin' it to. You wanna know just how I know, girl I'm doin' it to. Girl I know all about it. We can work it out. Just tell me about it. You ain't got a front. No no, you ain't the only one I'm doin' it to. You wanna know just how I know, girl I'm doin' it to. But yeah Young Hollywood. Yes, thank you. V Factory. Peace out. Holla.
