K-Pop's TOMORROW X TOGETHER Talk BTS, Touring, & The Meaning of Their Name

Yes. As your fans would say, is it yeppu? Means cute, right? I know your fans always tell about like when you guys do something cute. Well, thank you guys so much for coming. We're so excited to have you guys here. Well, I have to personally congratulate you guys because you've only been a group for like not even a few months and you're already breaking so many records. You're topping all the music charts. It's just really, really incredible.

Uh I just have to point out a couple quick little facts about you guys just in case you don't know about Tomorrow by Together. So you guys are currently the highest-selling K-pop rookie act of 2019. Wow. You also have the highest-charting debut album by an all-male K-pop group. Oh, yeah. And you guys are the first boy band to debut from Big Hit Entertainment since BTS was formed six years ago in 2013. So, you guys are their first ever labelmates. I mean, is that just whole thing surreal to you? Is it crazy? How's the whole kind of experience been right now?

It is just thankful and is a great honor. And, yeah, very, very excited.

Well I know all are excited that you guys are on the K-pop scene, you're blowing up. Have you gotten any just like good advice from BTS just about, you know, becoming K-pop idols?

They told us about the importance of teamwork and how we should cherish our team. We met them in Chicago. Yeah. And saw their concert. It was really amazing and they inspired us. We learned We learned so much from them.

So you guys were part of the ARMY. Of course. Right. Well, you guys also just wrapped up your first solo US showcase tour, which is amazing. Um did you guys have just a highlight of the tour? It was called Star in US, right? So you're introducing all your fans to your debut album, which is the Dream Chapter: Star and if you haven't heard it, you have to go check it out. Their songs are amazing. I love everything.

Did you have just like a highlight of the tour? What was your favorite part of being in the US?

All the cities were memorable and it's so thanks thankful to our fans. Yeah. I think taking photo with our fans in the end of the show was amazing.

Visiting six cities is was really memorable because it was our first time to meet our fans from each cities. Yeah. So it was really.

Shout out to all the fans. Which speaking of, by the way, your fans are amazing. I already talked to a lot of them on Twitter before you guys came. So excited. What do you want to say to your fans because I know, you know, what can expect from Tomorrow by Together?

I just want to say to our fans for, yeah, thank you for supporting us. And thank you for coming to our showcase. Yeah. I love you. Really, love our fans. I love you.

How did you guys come up with the name Tomorrow by Together? Because there's I know there must be a meaning behind that.

The meaning behind Tomorrow by Together is how five of us came all together in one group to build a new tomorrow.

All about the dream, right? How would you describe your sound? Because you guys have amazing choreography, you're very bright and playful and the choreographies are amazing.

How would you sort of describe like the sound of your music?

Our music is really bright and energetic. We have our own style of our music, like performance, and music, also choreography and everything. Yes.

That's awesome. Crown, by the way, was your debut single, which if you guys haven't heard, you have to go watch it because it's it's amazing. What was the message behind Crown?

Crown is trendy synth-pop song and it's about growing pains compared with horns.

Your next song was Cat & Dog, which was so cute. I just love everything about the video. How did that even come about? Like, are you guys animal lovers? Do you love cats, dogs or how did how did that whole song kind of come together? And what was your favorite part about the video?

We play with cat and dogs. That was my memorable part. It was so adorable.

Playing with our dogs and like take lots of photos. I think that was our memorable.

Do you guys have pets? Do you guys? You have a cat or a dog?

I have cat.

You have a cat? Yeah. And what's what's the cat's name?

His name is Hoobak.

Oh. Pumpkin. Yeah.

No. It's Hoobak, yeah. It's kind of Jolly. His eyes looks like that Jolly, Hoobak. Oh. So I named it Hoobak.
