What's going on, guys? Hanging with me right now, I have Itzy.
Itzy! Two, three, all in us. Hi, I'm Hollywood. We are Itzy.
Yay! Welcome to the Young Hollywood Studio.
Thank you.
And welcome to LA. Have you guys been enjoying yourselves so far?
Yeah, yeah, now.
What's been your favorite part about LA?
Young Hollywood, right now.
Sweet talker, I like that. So in my opinion, my favorite thing about traveling is the food.
Oh, of course. Right? Oh.
So I want to know, what's your favorite American food that you can only get here in the States?
Burger. Pancake. Pancake. Pancakes. Burgers, pancakes. What's yours? Um, I have a cheese pizza yesterday. Oh, it was great. Waffle. Waffle. Waffles.
So I want to take a second to talk about your name, Itzy. Hmm. What does it stand for and how did it come about?
So our name Itzy actually is Korean. So in Korean, it's me means like to have. So like our group um message is that, um you know how we said all in us at the beginning to you guys. So our group message basically is that we have everything you guys want in us. So it means like to have. So it's like that Korean word. Itzy but it's spelled ITZY in English. But I also think the spelling itself is really catchy and cool.
You guys have so many fans and you guys are such great performers and singers.
Thank you.
How do you prep your? You're welcome. How do you prep for those really powerful performances?
How we really practice for this is we can show it show our really good performance for our fans. And first of all, we very think about the details of the choreographies. So I think if we practice like that. Yeah, long hours. Yeah. And one of like the ways is um we actually film it a lot. Like all the time. Every time we practice, we try filming it. And then that way we can see like the details like really just said. And yeah, and we can see the progress. So.
That's actually a really good idea. I never really thought about that. And then I do want to bring up your song "DALLA DALLA" and then your recent release "ICY". Both of those songs so good and they have really fun dance moves that go with the song. So I want to know, can you show me some of the key moves to those songs?
Two, one, I love myself. Yeah. Yay!
Okay, it's my turn. You're going to teach me how to do that.
Oh. Our debut song "DALLA DALLA" is pointed choreographies. Ooh, that little leg thing, I like it. Touching your hair, right? Yes. Oh, I like it. You're smoother at it than I am. Okay, so I love myself. Now I'm gonna. I'm joining the group. We are on audition. Very cool. Okay, awesome. Okay, what about "ICY"? Yeah, "ICY." One, two, three. I see that I'm "ICY." Yeah. You really have the hip moves. Hip moves. All of the hips. On hips. Yeah. Oh, no. Okay. Sure. And hips. Shoulders and hips. Really. Just the rhythm. Just the rhythm. Oh, that's a point. Oh yeah. Wow. You're really good at it. Really. You guys want to sing it first? I forgot the move. Just the rhythm. I see that I'm "ICY." Yeah. I see that I'm "ICY." Yeah. Yeah. This is why you are in the band in the group.
Thank you so much for showing me those moves.
Thank you. Thank you.
So speaking of the songs, what's your favorite song to perform?
Well, since our debut song "DALLA DALLA" because we prepare for a very long time. Right. And since we practiced a lot and I think the fans still enjoy and love it the most. So she said that uh for her, it's our debut song "DALLA DALLA", the one you just yeah, danced to it. Uh because uh we really prepared for it for a long time compared to the other songs since it was our debut song. And lots of our fans really love that song, so that's why. I like "ICY" too. "ICY." Our producer made it for us. She likes "ICY" because our producer J. Y. Park made the song for us. Thank you. It's a good song. Thank you. This is why.
What about a favorite city to perform in?
Oh. It is hard to say that we have a favorite city to perform because where Itzy is, that's where our is. So wherever Itzy is, that's where our stage is. Yes.
Oh, I love that. Yes. Clap for that. I like that a lot. Okay, so staying on the topic of songs, if you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be?
I want to try with Beyoncé. Beyoncé! Because I I feel so much, so much good energy. Yeah. And I I thought it could be connected it could be connected with girl crush performance. With like our energy. Our energy. I think so. That's a good one. Um, maybe Chungha Sunbaenim. Oh. So Chungha Sunbaenim is our K-pop, one of our K-pop singers. She's she's also a solo singer and she's also a really good performer and a singer at the same time. So Yuna wants to collaborate with her. And the reason is. Yeah, her. The reason is um because her performance is very great and um very Inspiring. Yeah, yeah. So So we want to collaborate with her. Yeah. Great answer. She is She has a very girl crush power. Yeah. Lots of girl crush power on stage.
And then lastly, I know you, you're known for your cute facial expressions. Yes. Oh. I want to know, can you show me some before we go? Oh. Yes. Don't be shy. Don't get shy. I'll do it with you. Why are you shy? She wants to show it. Um One. You want us to like do this for you? Yes. Is this easier? Okay. One, two, three. Oh. So cute. So cute. So cute. Why are you shy? The leg is spread. Yeah. It's okay. Oh. Okay, so show me one more time. How do I do it? Um make a facial expression. You do like a cross the eyes. Yes. Okay, you want to do it with me? Ready? One, two, three. Oh. Yay! Thank you so much for showing me.
Thank you. Thank you.
