Young Hollywood

Welcome to YoungHollywood. com. Hey, Young Hollywood, I'm Michelle Marie here with Taylor Swift. You are 17 years old, you're just about to celebrate your 18th birthday. Your album's going double platinum and you just got nominated for a Grammy. It's the best week ever.

Taylor Swift

I seriously am freaking out right now. I can't believe that I even got to be in the same room with Fergie and Akon and it's just so exciting to me. I can't even explain it.

Young Hollywood

What does it winning a Grammy mean to you?

Taylor Swift

I think if I won, I would just start like balling my eyes out and freak out.

Young Hollywood

Well, you started out basically like promoting your music on MySpace.

Taylor Swift

MySpace has always been such a huge deal for me because I just kind of created MySpace like it was my personal MySpace. Not like it was something my promotion team at my label like made up. So it's really exciting that people have wanted to be my friend on MySpace.

Young Hollywood

Have you had any interesting fan moments?

Taylor Swift

We've had some tattoos. I was at a signing in a Walmart. This woman walked up and was like, "Here, sign my stomach. I'm going to get a tattoo." I'm like, "You are know you're not." So I signed really big, obnoxiously big. And she came back later with it tattooed on.

Young Hollywood

How do you think the internet has been changing your uh musical career?

Taylor Swift

I think the internet is the future of the music industry. It's really um inevitable. I think if we put more effort into internet, it'll help us more. Hey, I'm Taylor Swift and you're watching the fabulous Young Hollywood.
