I've been begging Drew to show me how to play the drums because I actually did learn a long time ago and I haven't played it in probably the longest time. I probably think I'm a lot better than I really am. So, I'm going to let the pro right here show me how it's done.

First of all, I'm not a pro. I used to play drums a lot way back in the day, but now I'm old and rusty. So, um

More of a pro than me.

See the thing is if you don't play drums for a super long time and then you just hop on it, you kind of forget how to do it and it takes a minute to get into it. But I'm just going to like try and jump into it. So, um. Right there. Now, Tracy's going to mimic that.

I'm going to I'm going to mimic that entire thing. Okay, ready? That's how it's done. She's actually better than me.

So, right now we are kicking it in Matt Rat's Studio. Matt Rat is the raddest. Just want to say that. Wherever you are, love you, dude. Um, we're going to be writing new songs for hopefully a hit single and hopefully a new album. And that's really exciting. Um, we're really stoked because we've been like this whole year touring and working on that last album and just writing and coming up with new concepts and ideas for what to do next. And so we're really like passionate and excited about like this next step. It's going to be really fun. Uh, we got #bandlifetour coming up, which is going to be like probably the funnest time period of my life so far. I would say hands down, yes, it's going to be. Um, got my buddies Jack, Ted, and Ryan coming out on the road. Plus my sister and like a couple other people and uh, we're just going to be like freaking partying and having like so much fun every night, playing shows, getting tons of footage and uh, you know, just living it up. It's going to be amazing. A lot of people, I think, still don't maybe still don't really know this about us, but um, we are like actual musicians, songwriters, producers. Keaton has been working the logic um, program on computers, which is a recording engineering program. He's been working that since it like came out. He has just as much experience as a lot of the top dogs do. So, um, I mean, that's that. I mean, we all, we all play other instruments too. Um, like drums, guitar, bass, um, you know, everything, Ted plays trumpet, you know, harp. I play Native American flute, it's one of my favorite instruments actually. Uh, we all sing, rap, whatever, like we just have all different kinds of styles of music and one thing that is cool is like we're so new that we can do whatever we want with our music and we can be whoever we want to be with our music. And we we can have our music be our image. Like, we don't have to subscribe to any particular like genre or label or anything like that. We can just be us and release any style of music that we want, which is so cool to have that opportunity and that ability to just be who you want to be. I'm sitting at the mixing board right now. We're working on uh, tons of new music today. Uh, really, really exciting stuff. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. Uh, I wish I could show you, but I can't. And um, so yeah, just get excited. And band life tour is coming up, #bandlifetour. A lot of exciting things going on with that. Going to be seeing a lot of us coming up in the next month. Can't wait to see you. I think the new songs, I mean, you know, we've been growing and evolving since, well, actually, we've been playing together for like 10 years now. So, we've had a lot of time to be writing and learning our styles and stuff. So, the newer stuff, like the newer stuff that we have is so sick because, um, last year we got to work with like the very best producers in the world, you know, Max Martin, and I don't want to name off all of them, but a lot of crazy good songwriters and producers. So, that being said, like, we absorbed everything that we learned from them like a sponge and just added added that and enhanced it to our own songwriting techniques. So, like before, we had like this super raw original style. Uh, we never at, you know, we just wrote our songs, no one told us how to write anything or do anything. It was just us. Now, we have the actual like formulated, I don't know, the professional techniques and stuff to add on to our own individual, or you know, our our our own personal style. So, it's this it's really unique and it's really cool and I'm so optimistic about releasing it and sharing it and I just want everyone to know how how much my heart is in these new songs and how stoked I am to share.
