And I'm Ilene with GlobalGrind. com and we're here at the most exclusive Grammy after party hosted by Russell Simmons.

So who are your favorite performers tonight on the Grammy?

Uh, MIA.

We're hearing that a lot tonight.

I've been following MIA for a while and my sister and I saw her a couple years ago at a small venue in San Francisco and to see her on stage tonight, nine months pregnant with that outfit, she's just the best. I'm so happy that she's so successful.

What do you know about GlobalGrind. com?

I've heard a lot of things about Global Grind and I'm very interested. Being able to blog on a place like Global Grind, I think it's incredible to be able to contact your fans.

I'm here with the man of R&B, Anthony Hamilton, who won a Grammy tonight.

Yeah, first time I've been nominated seven times. I knew seven was the charm. You know what I mean?

So you know what, you definitely dress the part tonight.

Well, uh this is Dolce Gabbana jacket.

So who else were you really excited to see win tonight?

It was good to see Jennifer Hudson. All she's been through just to give her a hug and tell her it'll be it'll be okay. Coldplay and Jay-Z was amazing.

What do you think about the impact that GlobalGrind. com is going to be having on the overall global community and giving a voice to the urban perspective?

It's like Gumbo. You know, there's a piece of everything there and I and I think that that's beautiful uh for not only hip hop culture, but culture, you know, in terms of world society.

There's one thing you would want your fans to remember about you, what would it be?

That hopefully, you know, people have been affected by what I do. I'm doing this show House. I'm playing a young doctor who has a tattoo and he's from the hood. Maybe that can inspire some kid that's actually in the hood who may think that that dream is unattainable.

I have to say, I love this outfit. Tell me about it.

Um, it's my little Buttercup outfit and uh I thought I should look like a cupcake today. It's party time and that's the way it is.

So how long does it take to actually get ready for a party and and for the night?

I allow myself at least two hours. Um, an hour for makeup, an hour for hair, and then 15 minutes for dressing because it's already picked out. And then um to get to the party is a whole another subject. But you know what, you gotta come out and support Russell, right? I love Russell Simmons. I love his daughters. Um, and I think that he has a wonderful whole entire empire that, you know, everyone aspires to have. So, got to be around the people that you definitely look up to.

How were the Grammys this evening?

Man, it was incredible. It's fun.

Who are your favorite performers tonight?

The Swagga like us. That's what I that's what I wanted to say.

You are a legendary hip hop artist. Are you still recording right now? Do you have anything coming up any new projects?

I'm working on a um a mixtape right now with DJ A M.
