Young Hollywood

Welcome to younghollywood. com. We're here of course with good friends Pete Wentz, Travis McCoy at Gallery 1988. Guys, I want to know are they serving up Merlo and Sprite tonight?

Travis McCoy

Of course. This show wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Merlo and Sprite.

Pete Wentz

Interesting story with that. It's a drink that I concocted one night, bored and without a lot of options. And it tasted great and I put him up on it and we both loved it. And we used it as our fuel to make all these beautiful paintings happen.

Young Hollywood

How did you come up with the idea to put this together? Was it just for fun?

Pete Wentz

It was madness, I think. It was a conversation between the two of us that would take place on canvas and cardboard and the rug, the wall sometimes, the entire room. Actually, the room when we were done was a piece of art in itself. Whatever whatever surface existed.

Young Hollywood

Any fires?

Pete Wentz

Actually, this is the piece right here that This is the piece that almost killed both of us. Travis got me on working on adhesives a lot. So we're working with adhesives and paint. I thought I was experimenting. The truth was I was committing arson.

Young Hollywood

All graffiti and 80s inspired, right? What's your favorite memory of the 80s?

Pete Wentz

Subway art and spraying art.

Travis McCoy

Probably get my first like big thing to pop for Chita. Wow. the fastest thunder cat around. And the sexiest.

Young Hollywood

This from your childhood. This actually from 1975. It's red box. one of the most insane things you've ever seen. Nobody loves Redbox for me. I'm the only one that has love for Redbox. I've seen ride day toothbrushes, cigarettes, anything else that I'm missing that you guys use?

Pete Wentz

Daily daily stuff, you know, like DDS. All for a good cause. Invisible Children. Well, we understand that when the economy is the way it is, the first thing that suffers is art art. When you're worried about putting food on your kid's table. But these people in Northern Uganda are worrying about the same thing. So, we created kind of these affordable prints. You can get them at gallery1988. com. You can go to Travis vlog, hewints. com. Whatever.

Travis McCoy

Watch this. I'm going to show you one one thing. No, I just want to show one thing. He hates my. No. I'm going to show you one thing with my. No. It doesn't work if if Hemmingway is not here. No, you're not going to take a picture. You're going to hurt him.

Young Hollywood

It's your boy Young Hollywood with his man Old Hollywood. There's some great going on right there. This is this is ancient Hollywood right here. No, I want to picture with him. No, he's done. He's going to hurt him.
