Hey, Young Hollywood. I'm Carly Steel. And I'm Michelle Marie. And we are here at the People Magazine pre-Grammy party. And you know, when Timbaland's hosting, all the A-listers come out.

Have you decided what you're wearing to the Grammys yet?

It's more of a lilac kind of purple gown and it's custom made by Sandy Spica.

Well, the last time we saw you, Taylor, was actually at the ceremony where you were nominated for Best New Artist. For Best New Artist, the nominees are Taylor Swift. You have to tell us what's been happening since then.

It's just really exciting getting used to that. When I read stuff, um, they put out press releases and stuff and they're like, Best New Artist Grammy Nominee Taylor Swift. I'm like,

We're here with my fellow countrywoman, Natasha Bedingfield. Now, you're one of the few people, few Brits who've really conquered the American market. What is the secret to your success?

I don't know. I think that America seems to be crazy about British stuff at the moment and I'm kind of part of that wave and I I am really enjoying it, you know.

What are you looking forward to most?

Oh my gosh, it's just a week of parties. That's what I like. I like seeing all the people that I admire and just having fun, really.

Carrie Hilson. You got to tell me about these earrings.

Oh man, thank you so much. B. Star actually hooked me up. I'm not sure if she made them, but she's my stylist and designer.

Now, obviously, you've had an amazing year. What has been the highlight for you?

Seeing the way I are at number one for myself on the chart and also, I got my first cover.

With a lot of people like to aspire to be where you are. What can you say to inspire them?

Just go after it. Perseverance, tenacity, all of that. The things that people say, it's so much easier said than done, but it's so worth it if you just go with what you know, you know, don't give up.
