What's going on, guys? Nicole Kotch, For Young Hollywood here at the iHeart Music Awards. Let's go talk to our favorite people that we iHeart.
What's this on your jacket? Can you tell me?
I didn't I actually never even looked. You know, I think it's like a a moon.
Is somebody mooning you or is that actual moon? We're all twinning with the nose rings. Yeah. You have one too? No, he needs to get. No, he's he's slacking. You should. You should. What's expensive? Should I get a nose ring? If we all wanna match. Next time for sure he'll have it. So, out of everyone here tonight, who do you wanna meet that you haven't yet?
Everybody. I mean, same. Listen, this is my first time here, so I'm trying to take advantage of the whole opportunity, you know? I saw Chance, and I was just like. Oh my gosh.
What would you say to Chance right now if he was watching?
Hi. Let's do a song together, trust me, it's going to be great. And I'll sing it in Spanish, so, you know, we'll get that market, too. It's sexy, I love it.
I don't know who's gonna be here tonight, but we've just been so lucky that since the Olympics, everyone's been so welcoming and nice to us, so that's been really cool.
Who are you guys loving right now in music?
Oh my gosh, so many people are like killing it right now. Uh, but I gotta say Camila is like totally killing it. And her performances are always a big surprise of what she's, you know, what she's gonna wear and what she's gonna do. I love Khalid so much. He's he's my baby and I love hugging him. He's just a a beautiful human. Um.
It's okay, don't worry about it. What's been going on? Tell us.
Uh, we got new music coming out in like a week and a half, and in five days we have to pack our whole life and go on tour.
Tour. So, what do you wanna do to R&B music specifically?
You know, I just wanna add my contribution, you know? I I really wanna uh make people fall in love and believe that love, you know, does exist, you know, not just for, you know, people that get older, but for, you know, young people, Young Hollywood. So, yeah.
Exactly. We believe in love at Young Hollywood, for sure. I heard that you were you're on tour with Brad Paisley, is that right?
Yes, yeah, we're wrapping up with Brad, actually, in April. You know, we we haven't gotten to do the the festival circuit in a long time. We've been on these giant tours. So, this summer we're gonna go out and do those festivals again. You know, the four-day, just go camp and get crazy four-day things. So, I'm excited for that.
You guys are actually a lot taller than when I remember in the studio.
We keep getting taller, we never stop growing. Second guest: Yeah, you know, it's something called it's this thing called HGH. You guys should look into it, human growth hormone, yeah. Shoot up. Just crazy.
You were in our studio and you did a makeup tutorial, do you remember that?
I did a makeup tutorial, you guys made me sing, and now my album is coming out this year.
Oh my God, so does that mean that we get the credit for your album?
Yeah, because, you know, as soon as I sang for Young Hollywood, I knew I could do it.
Well, that was so good, I remember that moment. You know, just the usual, like, promo life, making sure when her dress rips when we first get here, she sews it up herself, 'cause she a badass life. Just real life mixed with the usual music stuff. If you had any hidden talents, can you show us right now? Can you all blur something out?
Yeah, we'll blur. I'm kidding.
If you guys could play any song and cure anything in the world, what would you cure?
Probably division. We could use some healing, you know, division at the moment. Second guest: Probably people's lack of self-confidence. I don't know which song it would be, but I really just I am so grateful that I found something in skating that I really loved and, you know, I had a lot of tough times along the way, but I was able to build up my own confidence, so that's just something that I wish everyone is able to find.
It could be one of your songs, 'cause you guys have really inspirational songs.
We have yeah, we have a song called Dear World, and we kind of wrote it as a little like love letter to the world, and um. Yeah, it could bring people together, some unity there. We use music as an emotional tool to inspire us. And so, to be able to help someone become reinspired or, you know, believe in their dreams again, that's what we've done with our music and skating. We skated to Paradise by Coldplay, and that song means so much to us. So, to be able to do that for someone else, that'd be awesome.
