Hey Young Hollywood, I'm your host Michelle Marie and I'm standing right in front of LAX here at the VMAs in Vegas. It's a great night. We're going to get an interview with Jim Class Heroes and also Samantha and Mark Ronson. Let's go check it out.

Samantha Ronson and Mark Ronson here at the LAX opening. So tell us about tonight, are you excited?

No, excited. We are. Yeah.

How about you, excited to be in Vegas?

I am very excited.

So how do you guys feel about the vibe of celebrity DJs and having your name out there and you guys are part of that whole world. How's it feeling?

I don't get the whole celebrity DJ thing at all. Do you get it? Like we're DJs and that's why people know us. We weren't like actors first. Um, yeah, it's fine. I mean, I understand the title. I understand we're in an age where DJs are sort of like the new stand-up comics or whatever it is, and you get famous. But whenever anyone started calling me a celebrity DJ and it used to annoy the living crap out of me. I I couldn't figure out if it was because I DJ for celebrities or because I was a C-list celebrity as a result of DJ. Right. But um, yeah, I've struggled for the first six years to uh win my credibility back and I hopefully I've done that.

So tell us what you have going on, anything coming out?

Um, well, my uh, my album's out right now on All City Records Virgin and uh, I've got I just did a remix, the first time anyone's ever done that of Bob Dylan's ever allowed a remix of one of his records. And uh, performing at the VMAs on Sunday and that that's kind of it.

Is there anybody that you're really excited to see on Sunday perform or win an award?

Britney.

Britney? Of course. What do you think she's gonna do on Sunday?

I think she's gonna dance her little Kentucky ass off and it's gonna be great.

You're smelling my hair too. It smells so good. I feel like everybody at the VMAs is smelling my hair. Yeah. What does it remind you of?

Sorry. Myrrh and frankincense.

Okay. I got strawberry, I got myrrh and frankincense. So, we're obviously here with the Gym Class Heroes. They're gonna perform tonight here at LAX. So are you guys excited about the VMAs? You guys are gonna make it for some awards. Congratulations on all of your nominations.

So much. We're really excited. Um, I mean, we're nominated for Best New Artist, which is really, really awesome, you know. Um, I mean, we've been a band for ten years, but you know, it's been well worth it, especially now that we're being recognized for all of our hard work and also Best New Group or Best Group, which is crazy up against Fallout Boy and, which are like our older brothers. Yeah. So it's kind of I don't know, it's it's a strange situation, but it's still amazing to even be here and be a part of it, you know. Just even having a presence at the VMAs, it's amazing.

I'm really excited for you guys. Congratulations. And we're excited to see you tonight. So, do you have anything going on this weekend as far as uh, partying? What kind of a rest do you have going on?

I don't think anybody has anything going on besides from partying, you know. I think the awards is kind of secondary. Yeah. at this point. Yeah. Um, but we'll see. Let's go get our drink on.
