I'm Annalyn of the new 90210. Love you. We're here celebrating the VMAs.

Are you a big fan of the show or is there anyone specific you'd love to see?

Britney. I'm just a big fan and I support her. She's a mom and I'm a mom, so you always want them to come out on top.

So, this year, you know, 90210 is kicking off. What do you think about the whole show so far?

I thought it was good. I think they have a great cast, a new cast, you know, Shannon and Jenny from old cast. I think it's a nice blend.

We are here with Michael Steger of 90210. You're a big music fan, right?

Yes.

What is your favorite kind of music?

Um, I pretty much like everything, like especially like classic rock, but right now I'm really into The Killers, Coldplay, you know, those type of bands, so big fan.

How do you compare your character to maybe one from the past?

Well, I have a very coveted position at the school, I'm a head journalist, so I'm compared to um, maybe Andrea Zuckerman or Brian Austin Green. So, very similar.

You just got yourself a little Pictionary and a little cute doughboy. He's so cute.

It's a little Pictionary man. I just, I just said he's actually going to be my new boyfriend, I think.

Hey. I can draw on him. That's a good thing, you can just create the look.

I can create the look. And if I don't like it, I can change it.

If there's one moment in history that you can remember from the VMAs, is there one that stuck out in your mind, I don't know, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera kiss, it will go down in history. It was amazing. I was there. Christina Aguilera, I think, almost kind of got pushed away because that Britney kiss was something else.

What have you done so far here at the suite?

Just listening to Chris Cornell and they gave us these sweet Verizon phones, the Glide, brand new thing. I just checked that out. Touch screen, it's pretty insane.

What kind of music do you usually listen to?

I'm from the Midwest, so I like country. I like alternative, so it's like Jason Mraz and Ryan Darbonne. And then when I get over to country, it's like, you know, McGraw, Brad Paisley, stuff like that. And then Shania Twain. Guilty pleasure.

What is it that you love about MTV VMAs every year?

It's just entertaining. That's, you know, it's, it's something that I can watch and actually keep my eyes open to.

If you were to actually go up there and like present with someone, who would you go up there with?

Timberland. Timberland. I would love to. He's a brilliant man.

I know a lot of times people want to like compare you to like maybe someone from the old 90210. But what do you usually say?

I think Steve from the old show. I, I get that comparison. He was really a part of the the friends, friends, whereas George, who I play, is kind of the troublemaker. He's a dog, which I love him. No, it's not really a good thing, but girls always like the guys that are like, you know, the bad boys. He can be nice to the girls. He just has an alternative motive.
