What up y'all? It's your boy Kobe O'Donnell and I wanted to give a shout out to Young Hollywood and I mean. Let's get it popping, y'all.
Here's one of your favorites for the year. Kobe O'Donnell, definitely. He's done so much. You've definitely built a prodigy up. What is it about him? Why do you think the fans love him so much?
He's young, he's fresh, he's a writer, he's a producer. I mean, he's been hungry, been doing it forever. His work ethic is incredible. All right. I mean, he deserves it, you know what I mean? And I want to make it, I want to see it happen for him, you know?
What is it about being here at the actual red carpet that made you realize, now, I'm here, I made it. This is my time.
I've watched this all my life. You know, I've always watched the red carpet, artists walking down it and now I'm actually on it doing the same thing that they were doing, so it's, it's a blessing. I'm excited. Yeah.
If there's one moment in history from the VMAs that you can remember that you really, really loved and that stuck on your mind, what was it?
I think it was a few years back. He was in Rage Against the Machine, the bass player, he was like super drunk and he was climbing up the, you remember that?
Yeah, I do. It's all about scandal. If you can pick three songs for an I mean playlist, what would be the three songs that you love from the year?
All right, well, I say, "What You Got," of course. Uh, uh, Brian McKnight, "Back at One," I love that song and uh, Akon featuring Akon, "Dangerous."
What's the best part about working with Akon?
He's the coolest guy ever. Like, I'm signed to his label, I'm signed to him, but I don't even look at it that. I look at it like I'm signed a family. So it's like the best thing ever.
What would you say to all your fans right now? Just, you know, they've been supporting you for the year. What would you like to say to them?
You know, you guys are helping me live out my dream. I love you so much. Thank you for loving my music and, uh, hopefully I can keep bringing you guys great music that you can enjoy it for the years to come.
Young Hollywood, what's up, man? It's your boy Akon, another official concert. Keep it lot boy, stop playing. Yeah.
