Young Hollywood

Welcome to Young Hollywood. com.

Yung LA

Young LA, man, Futuristic Lelan in the building. And y'all in tune with me right now. We kind of hanging out in the studio. This is gonna be crazy. You already know, man.

Young Hollywood

What's up Young Hollywood? It's Michelle Marie. I'm here with the newest member of Grand Hustle, Young LA right over here. I know that, you know, back in the day in Atlanta, there was a theme song basically A-Nay is kind of like the anthem for the neighborhood.

Yung LA

It was just me thinking about what I'm doing and just saying "A-Nay" to that. Like, I am in theville. I am on the hill. A-Nay, A-Nay, my money long. A-Nay, A-Nay, putting on. These are the things that I was doing and I just wanted to find a, you know, a way to get it across and I felt like everybody could say "A-Nay".

Young Hollywood

So let's talk about the remix. Obviously you have TI on there, Young Dro. I love the style of the video.

Yung LA

Growing up I was always a fan of like X games, bike riding, skateboard, BMX and stuff like that. Seen me with the mohawk and you know, breaking out the fashion. We call that Black Boy Swag, White Boy Tash, you know what I mean?

Young Hollywood

Well, you definitely are on the forefront of style and, you know, you're very innovative. You have your own thing going on. How do you think that you're really different from any other artists?

Yung LA

I don't really wear jewelry like that. As far as my sound, I think my delivery separates me from a lot of artists, the way I deliver my words, the way I say what I say, the way I stress my words.

Young Hollywood

You're also definitely setting trends by creating these new slang words. Can you tell us about them?

Yung LA

When I say, uh, don't I love my vegetables, extra cheese and broccoli, I'm talking about money. When you hear me say "Swave", I'm talking about swag mixed with flavor. When you hear me say "one done", that's just saying keep it on the one. It's taking some slang from up north. And then in the south we call $100 bills "Hunduns". So I was like just keep it one done. So that's another word, you know. So you hear all kind of slang language coming from the boy, LA.

Young Hollywood

Let's talk about your relationship with TI, Young Dro.

Yung LA

Working with Tip, working with Dro is great cause I'm working with veterans and I'm working with people who've already proved their self in the game, who already been successful.

Young Hollywood

How do you feel about TI right now? He's doing a lot of good things. The people really take to him well. He's very articulate and you know, Tip is, you know, he's the man. He's the king. So, you know, Grand Hustle in the building.

Young Hollywood

I know you're gonna show us one of your tracks that you're mixing for Futuristik Lelan coming out soon. Can you tell us what we can expect from the album?

Yung LA

It's gonna be fun, you know what I mean? It's gonna be fun.

Young Hollywood

Oh, we're ready to hear it. You ready?

Yung LA

Oh yeah, I'm always ready, locked and loaded. Futuristik Lelan in the building. Young Airro. What's up baby doll? I love you, slay and waist long hair Barbie doll. I can be your king, your homie lover friend. Can't delete, damn it, baby, we can get it in. Futuristik love. Young Hollywood, Young LA, that's how we rockin', bitch dog.
