Hangin' With Diddy And His Family

Hey guys, it's Michelle Marie coming to you from the celebrity vault in Beverly Hills where Hennessy presents Cheryl Fox's photo exhibit of the rock and roll of hip-hop. And I'm here with Diddy and Kim Porter here at this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful opening, I have to say. Such great photos. They really capturing a moment in time. How do you feel about all the work?

I feel absolutely great about it, especially being a part of this moment in time. It's just great to display it. And we all know that a picture is worth a thousand words. And we're just excited to bring everyone else into it and can have that moment as well.

Well, of course, this is all about icons. And Diddy, you are super icon. And there's so many photos out there, but the one of you and Jay-Z really stands out to me. What was that moment? Do you remember that time?

Yeah, that was at one of my birthday parties and I was just telling him I appreciate him coming. He was on tour and he flew in private after one of his shows just to um come to the party and he had to fly back out. I was just telling him how much I appreciated and how much I valued our friendship. People see us as competitors and different icons in the hip-hop game, but that was a moment of just two black brothers telling each other how much they appreciate each other. And we call that picture a secret society.

All we ask is trust. Exactly. I like that. I like that. And the thing about all these photos is those are moments in time. Are there any moments that you can remember Diddy that are like the most memorable, I would say maybe like two of them in your lifetime because you've had so many experiences.

Two separate times is when she was giving birth. And, and, um, we was all, we always, um, made sure that we, we, we had video, or pictures and just commemorated it. It's, it's those are times that you want to cherish. And those are the pictures that I'll always look at and always cherish. We don't have none of them up here. No, no.

Well, before you got here, Christian, little Diddy, he calls himself little D. He took the mic and he walked around and was talking to everyone. He's like, what picture do you love? What's the favorite one that you have of my dad? And everyone was pointing it out. He loved it. He's like, can I have your job?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, he's a natural. He's a natural. You gotta watch out for him.

Do you know who my dad is? Yes, I do. What is your favorite picture of my dad? The one right over there. It's the picture of his profile. I mean, he's just like, looks just like you. You guys do such a great job raising your kids. What are the most, you know, important things about being good parents, especially having all these paparazzi and the cameras out here?

Keeping them grounded, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Always keeping them grounded and always keeping them true to who they are.

We're listening to Mike right now. Obviously, you know, this is a really sad time right now, but we're celebrating his life. Your thoughts right now on the situation and the timing of this tragedy.

Yeah, I mean, I mean, you know, he he just somebody that changed my life. You know what I'm saying? Somebody I'll always love and cherish.
