Did you hear that applause that just randomly happened in the background? My period all the way from there. Well, and you're going to be on a panel later today, right? Can you tell us a bit about what you're talking about? Yeah, that'll be pretty fun. The panel is called how to be a bad bae. So it's talking about like confidence and how to just a bad bae? Bad bae. Yeah, like B A E like a bae.

Um but yeah, it just talks about confidence and how to exhibit that and spread it to others and just be confident and cool with yourself. Do you have any like little preview you can give us about what your tips are for staying confident? I mean, one thing I always say it's like people stick to the norm and they say like the typical things like, you don't have to wear makeup. It's beautiful like on the inside, which is fine, I agree with that. But like, I'm the kind of person where like if you want to wear a full face of makeup every single day and that makes you feel confident and cool and great about yourself, then do it.

I mean, I'm totally all about like fresh face natural because it feels great. But honestly, like I think people are sometimes scared to do the things they want to do because it's not like the norm or And sometimes it feels good to be done up. Honestly, yeah. Sometimes I'm like I want to feel all take face tonight, but I think it's just about doing what you want to do like actually. Do you have any like little tricks or hacks that you've kind of found through time of doing your own makeup? Yes. I'm always so jealous of the people who have like the sharp winged liner. I'm like, how do you do that? But basically what I do is I put my eyeshadow on first.

Usually, I do my eyeliner with like an eyeshadow. I I don't always use like a gel. I just think sometimes it looks too harsh. But then what I do is when I'm wiping away the fallout, like with a makeup wipe to get ready to put my foundation on, like you put the makeup wipe on your finger and you literally just like swipe it away so it makes a perfect line like perfect little sharp thing every time. That's an amazing tip. I'm going to try that. Yeah, it works. Okay, the tip is for winged eyeliner, use some makeup remover to get the exact line. I love it. I'm sitting with Allie Simpson. So we were talking about her look because she said she came to Beautycon this morning looking good, but now she looks even better. Yeah, like I came in looking like my normal self and I've come out with blue hair. Someone attacked me with blue hairspray. I also got attacked with glitter. I love it. I'm so Beautyconified right now. Do you have like a favorite trend right now in beauty or in fashion that you're absolutely loving? For me, it's definitely glitter. Hence the glitter on my cheeks that was definitely, you know, me almost attacking myself. The blue hairspray wasn't. But the glitter I'm obsessed with.

I think, you know, you can really experiment with it, whether you have like a simple amount on your eyelids or, you know, even like me just putting it on my cheek like a highlighter or like putting it on my lips. I've tried that too. Very cool. I'm also loving like since it's coming into summer in LA, like I love that everyone like experimenting with the different highlighters and they're really like glowy, like dewy sort of makeup. That's what I'm loving right now, like natural, glowy and fun, sort of. Very LA. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, very nice. And you have a lot going on yourself outside of beauty and fashion and being on point with your trends.

Can you tell us a little bit about your radio show? Yeah, my radio show uh it's the Allie Simpson show on Radio Disney. It's every Friday night, which is really fun and I always have like really amazing guests coming in, whether it's like beauty gurus or some of my favorite people, like I had Gus Afoni come in recently and I almost cried. I had Beber in recently too, which was amazing and it's just a really cool platform for me to have and, you know, reach my fans and I just get to talk about things that I love like fashion and boys and advice and, you know, what I I can't complain. I love it. Yeah. That's so cool and you're also expanding into music. Yes. A bit more.

Can you tell us anything about that? You know, in the past I've got like a couple songs on iTunes already and in the past for me, it's just been for fun, really like a side thing that I've done, but the more time I spend in the studio and the more time you know, my brother Cody has been inspiring me quite a bit and helping me write music and it's been, you know, really good for me and I've been sort of diving into it and realizing I really do love it. So I've been working with some really amazing people lately and I have music coming very soon that I'm really passionate about. So I can't wait. So we want to play an emoji game with you. Okay. Yeah, I like games. What's your favorite emoji?

My favorite emoji hands down. Like I always can answer this question. Is the the smiley face that's kind of blushing. You just like the little the little cute one. It's like Well, since we love emojis and since we're at Beautycon, we have a game where we can beautify some emojis. Will you help us with that? Yeah. Okay. So, you have some different emojis to choose from. Whichever one you want. There he is, my favorite one. You have free reign, you're the makeup artist to the emoji. Okay. Awesome. Beauty Hacks, real or not? Okay. So we're going to quiz you on your beauty trivia. Are you ready? Oh my God. Okay. It's kind of like have you ever played Two Truths and a Lie? Yes. Okay, so it's basically like two truths and a lie but it's Beautycon version. Oh, this is the best game. I'm ready. Here we go. I'm going to read three different things and then at the end you have to guess which one's the lie. Okay. Here we go. The Kool-Aid lip stain trick works like this. You rub some Vaseline on your lips, then you put a little water on your lips, then you rub Kool-Aid powder on your lips, then you have a beautifully stained lip. All right. Going to get some really nice like mascara in here.

Maybe some eyeliner. Oh, a little wing. Oh, I love that. Wait, that looks so good. Smile. I think you need uh I like how it's a heat. So I'm trying to get some pink lipstick in here on him. What do you like better? Lipstick or eyeliner? Lipstick for sure. I look terrible in winged eyeliner. Really? I don't know why. If I do eyeliner, I go for like a glitter eyeliner or a silver or like colors, you know? But the black, I don't know why. It doesn't really suit me. It looks so good on everyone else. I'm like why can't I look like that? But, you know, we all have our differences. Number two. You can use orange lipstick under your eye as concealer. Okay.

And number three, you mix regular nail polish with Windex in order for the nail polish to last longer. Okay. So, what about mascara or eyebrow filler? Eyebrow filler. Because I I like the natural look without mascara sometimes if you just fill in your your eyebrows and, you know, so your base is complete, but you go for like the natural look. I love that. We'll do a blush, maybe. Oh, he's already got blush, but maybe a little more. Oh, it's so cute. Wait, I'm so there it is. Look. He's so cute. I think the second one's real. Cuz I've seen tutorials where they use like red or orange to cancel out like dark circles under the eye before you put foundation on.

So I'm going to say that one's real. I've never heard of the Windex thing in my entire life. The Kool-Aid thing, I've seen people use Kool-Aid, but I mean, usually you like mix all of it first, right? And then hopefully you're not drinking Vaseline, but I'm going to say maybe the Windex one. Ding ding ding. You were right. Okay. Wow. You're great at this. I was going to say what? Like I've never heard of this. You didn't think? So now you know. There you go. Awesome.
