"Hot Fun in the Summertime"

Hey there, I'm Tammy Sheffield. Now, it is a gorgeous summer evening and we're going to find out what Young Hollywood has planned for their summer vacations. Welcome to Young Hollywood. So, Kim, now I know you love going out with your girlfriends, but if you had a special trip planned this summer, would you rather go with a significant other or the girls?

Definitely a significant other. Ditch the girls.

Ditch the girls. Now, I love the girls trips. I have one once a year with my mom for her birthday and all of our friends. I'm enjoying the girls trips more often, but you know, sometimes you get lonely and you want a nice romantic trip.

I'm going over to Scotland, over to Edinburgh, um London and Paris. But when I get back, I'll start filming uh Eli Stone for ABC.

So, you're going to have to tell your agent, look for those movie scripts that have to be with India and Greece.

Unfortunately, I've ruined uh a good 12 years of my it's about 10 years of my career based on just just doing films based on where they shot. Where do they film Brazil? Yeah, I'll do that. Sounds great.

We are another big machine. Touring. Touring, working. So this summer it's all touring. All over California. We're going to start off with the radio tour, then we're going to jump out for a national tour.

Um, right now I'm working on Broadway. I'm doing a show called Hairspray. I think I have a week off and I'm hoping to go down just to Mexico really fast, cuz it'll be a quick easy trip.

What is your ideal summer vacation?

A tropical island. I've actually never been to Hawaii ever in my life. You know, just having your cell phone off. That's why I like cruises too. You know, nobody can actually say why didn't you have your cell phone on?

In about three weeks, I'm going to Peru. Um I'm going to do a medical mission with my mom who's a nurse, and we're going to immunize orphans for about 12 days. I'd love it if you came with me. Two blondes in Peru.

I was about to say, I think maybe those Peruvian eight-year-old boys might have a heart attack if you showed up. But I think I'm going to get to take uh a couple weeks and go to the Maldives with some buddies and go on a surf trip and spend like two weeks on a boat. It's a it's a really good experience for a young man, virile to spend like two weeks on a boat with all male friends.

Well, like broke back?

Broke back. Two dudes and they were on a mountain. This is like eight dudes and we're in a boat. So, what about inviting me and my girlfriends? Do you wear bathing suits when you go swimming?

There's no bathing suits allowed. Except when you're surfing, you know, chafing on on on your package is not good.

Okay, that's enough of detail. It's not just about age, it's about attitude.
