Young Hollywood

Welcome to Young Hollywood.com.

Young Hollywood

Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Haman.

Young Hollywood

I'm here with Jenny McCarthy and Jenny, I'm so excited to talk to you tonight because I am a huge tech girl.

Young Hollywood

I'm a huge Wii fan.

Young Hollywood

Are you?

Jenny McCarthy

I am and I can't wait to work out with you on screen.

Young Hollywood

I know, me too.

Jenny McCarthy

I can't wait to bust your chops, be your trainer.

Jenny McCarthy

I was so excited when they they came to me Ubisoft and said, you know, we have a new Wii game that we want to show you with the latest technology where you actually have a camera inside the game that you put on your TV and it projects your image onto the screen.

Jenny McCarthy

So you get to see yourself while you're working out.

Jenny McCarthy

And you're next to me working out, which I'm also, you know, it has a body scan so it can it can monitor your movements.

Jenny McCarthy

And I'm able to say, "Hey, move your arms, you're not, you know."

Young Hollywood

It is your real voice.

Jenny McCarthy

Close to it.

Young Hollywood

Do it.

Young Hollywood

I love that this seemed a little more adult.

Young Hollywood

I saw there are 400 exercises.

Jenny McCarthy

Over 400 different exercises.

Jenny McCarthy

You don't need a controller, which I think is brilliant.

Jenny McCarthy

One of the articles I saw that I was really excited about was the Wall Street Journal saying, finally, video games, women getting on board because it's one of the things that women are not tied to.

Jenny McCarthy

You don't think of women in technology and gaming.

Jenny McCarthy

But, you know, here you are, the face of a woman game.

Jenny McCarthy

Well, you know, most techies are guy nerds.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

Sorry.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

But it's true.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

So, you know, the way to appeal to a woman is how to incorporate a little bit of a kind of what I call takeaway TV.

Jenny McCarthy

What can they take away that's useful?

Jenny McCarthy

Because they're not just going to go brain dead in front of a television set.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

So this way, being fitness, they're going to get something out of it, which makes them even more, you know, interested to be involved.

Young Hollywood

So, are there any other games that you like to play with Evan or Jim that are on the Wii?

Jenny McCarthy

Oh God, so many.

Jenny McCarthy

Evan is a champion bowler.

Young Hollywood

Is he?

Jenny McCarthy

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

What's my, It's so much fun.

Jenny McCarthy

fun.

Jenny McCarthy

You know, my mom has Wii bowling league competitions.

Young Hollywood

No.

Jenny McCarthy

So yeah, they have their club

Young Hollywood

In the Midwest, in the Midwest.

Young Hollywood

I love it.

Jenny McCarthy

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

Cuz the Midwest, they're big bowlers.

Jenny McCarthy

They're big big.

Young Hollywood

Something else to do when it's freezing outside.

Young Hollywood

Before there were computers and before we had stimulating cameras that were scanning our bodies, what did you love to do?

Jenny McCarthy

You know, what we did back in the Midwest was we played sports.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

We really did.

Jenny McCarthy

We had gymnastics for for 45 minutes almost every day.

Jenny McCarthy

We had recess every day.

Jenny McCarthy

But then also, I was in cheerleading, field hockey, basketball, baseball.

Jenny McCarthy

You know, you name it, I played sports.

Young Hollywood

What do you get Jim Carrey for Christmas?

Jenny McCarthy

You know, I Twittered on my Twitter.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenny McCarthy

Please help me figure out what to get Jim for Christmas.

Jenny McCarthy

And I got the most amazing responses, but I'm going to get him a beard comb, I think.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

And I love it.

Young Hollywood

I love it, right?

Young Hollywood

And you know, does he have any scratches, I don't know.

Jenny McCarthy

No, no, no, no.

Jenny McCarthy

He he conditions it.

Young Hollywood

So seriously.

Young Hollywood

He condition a beard?

Young Hollywood

That is so cute.

Jenny McCarthy

I suppose, you know, right?

Jenny McCarthy

You got Terry.

Young Hollywood

Might as well.

Young Hollywood

We can just hear that, well, it's good to know he does good grooming.

Jenny McCarthy

He does.

Jenny McCarthy

He's like a monkey.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

How do you love working with women that you've met across the world and being able to interact with them on Oprah, on Skype, on Webisodes?

Jenny McCarthy

Well, one of my favorite things I've done in my career has been always a champion for women.

Jenny McCarthy

Even on Singled Out, back in MTV days.

Young Hollywood

Right.

Jenny McCarthy

I would make fun of the guys and I would root for the girls.

Jenny McCarthy

And I continue to do so even after Evan brought me to the world of autism and crusading that, and champion behind these moms that are so brave.

Jenny McCarthy

And so continue to do so.

Jenny McCarthy

Like I always wanted to be on the girl's side.

Jenny McCarthy

Hey guys, it's Jenny McCarthy.

Jenny McCarthy

You're watching Young Hollywood.

Jenny McCarthy

Woohoo.

Jenny McCarthy

Am I still young?

Jenny McCarthy

I don't know.
