What's up, young Hollywood? It's Faze Rug. And we're at Sneaker Con.
How are you feeling?
I'm feeling amazing. This is a crazy turnout.
Right? A lot of people out here. How what Okay, so you said this is your second Sneaker Con?
Second Sneaker Con. My first one was in 2018. I think it was at the same place.
Gotcha. So a long time ago. Lots happened.
A lot's happened since then. I have a lot of sneakers, and I'm surprised that this is only my second Sneaker Con.
Long time. Yes. Okay, so I was going to say are you a big sneakerhead? How many sneakers do you own?
I would say I'm up there in the triple digits. Maybe a little over a hundred.
You have like a specific room for your sneakers?
Uh I got two closets, and they're just filled with my sneakers. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
How much would you say is it important to be drippy like all the time? Like, how important is a good fit?
Honestly, I dress bummy a lot of the times. Like, I honestly dress in sweats and T-shirts all the time. But honestly, for events like this, or like specific times, like if we're going to the club, you know, then we bring out the nice fits. But for the most part, I'm always like dressed in like sweatpants or like regular shorts and a T-shirt. Yeah.
Well, you got to get the chain out. You you brought the chain out for Sneaker Con.
Faze up, baby.
Okay. So, how long have you known Jevon? Or you did you just meet for the first time?
I just met him for the first time.
Gotcha. Were you a euphoria fan?
Big euphoria fan. Big euphoria fan. How you yeah? What about you?
Okay, yeah, Euphoria. I got into it because it was like taking over the entire internet. So then I binge-watched it. And it was insane. But how do you feel about him, you know, kind of dying in the end? Everyone said.
Very sad. But everyone's saying that like he's going to make a return somehow. But I think that's how people feel when their favorite character dies in a show. It's like, they're going to come back somehow. So I'm hoping for that. Hopefully. You never know. You never know. That was my first time meeting him. Really, really cool guy.
Yeah, he's very nice. Also Okay, so what would you say, like, do you think you'd ever have your own booth here one day? Like, are you that into sneakers? Would you resell them? Maybe make some of your own. Talk to the surgeon.
I would say, yeah, me and Shoe Surgeon are really good friends, and I would definitely want to make a one-on-one sneaker with him and probably sell it to people, or just give it away, honestly. I do a lot of giveaways. So, it'd be dope to have like my own booth but do a cool like giveaway for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you live in San Diego now, no?
I do, yeah.
So did you make the trip up for Sneaker Con, or you're back in LA?
No, I made the trip out.
How do you like San Diego?
I love it. I actually grew up there.
Okay. I've never lived anywhere other than San Diego. Okay, gotcha. Okay, so now you're here. Okay, good. now you're here. He makes a good cameo. Okay.
For Sneaker Con, I'll make the trip. I mean, it was like an hour and a half. I just love shoes. I'm definitely going to walk out with at least five more.
I was like, how many are you going to buy? How many are you going to buy?
Five. Yeah, that's fine. A light five. Light five. Light. Light. Light work.
Perfect. Well, thank you so much for joining Young Hollywood.
Thank you for having me. I appreciate you.
