K-Pop Singer Heyoon Shares Her Christmas Plans & Faves

If you haven’t heard of Claire Denis, she is a French director who has made a lot of well-respected films, good enough that they are studied in film school (which is where I first learned about her). High Life is her first English-language film. Starring Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche, the film is a science-fiction story set in the future about a group of criminals sent into space for scientific experiments. With gorgeous imagery and a challenging, sensual story, the film asks some tough questions and, by the end, leaves most of them unanswered. It’s a film that’s not for everyone, and fair warning, it has a lot of bodily fluids in it. If you like sci-fi, French films, anything strange and ambitious, or are a hardcore film buff, you need to see this asap.
