The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, was released in theaters on March 4th, 2022. Starring Robert Pattinson as the dark superhero, the film is a new take on the Batman legacy, going darker than ever before as it explores Batman’s psyche and reputation in Gotham. While the movie has achieved box office success, it has also inspired many viral TikToks surrounding Pattinson’s unique take on the character. Here are a few of our favorites!
1. The Eyeliner Aesthetic
In the film, Pattinson is often seen sporting dark eyeliner that accentuates his moody nature as a vigilante. While the makeup serves to accentuate the character, fans couldn’t help but poke fun at how often he wears it — and whether it gets in the way of the crimefighting.
