Netflix Teases Upcoming Season 7 of "Elite" with Anitta!

An exciting return for the Spanish teen drama “Elite” -- Netflix has just released the first look and date announcement for Season 7 of the dark drama, with a look of who's back and who's new in the cast! Prior to the release of the show's 6th season, Netflix released the news of a renewal for Season 7 back in October 2022.

"Elite" is a Spanish teen drama revolving around the fictional lives of the students at the prestigious private high school, Las Encinas. The show portrays the scandalous lives of the rich students as they navigate their dark issues.

Anticipation for the season has been growing over the past year, and now more than ever with the release of the cast. This season, Brazilian singer Anitta joins the cast of students at Las Encinas as “Girl from Rio ''.

Also returning is fan favorite, Omar Ayuso, who will be reprising his character Omar Shanaa. Omar Ayuso is the only original cast member to have returned this season. In the shared first look, we watch Isadora, played by Valentina Zenere, and her fellow cast members falling rapidly from the sky as she questions if she is really happy with who she is and the people she is surrounded by.

It then flashes to the entire cast in the desert, dancing, touching, and kissing each other before Iván (André Lamogolia) begins to run, as he is soon followed by his fellow cast members. Here is where we get a quick glimpse of Anitta alongside her new cast mates.

The video concludes with Sara (Carmen Arrufat), Nico (Ander Puig), and Isadora (Valentina Zenere) sitting together in the daylight, where Isadora asks, “Do you feel like we are actually living? Or just existing?” -- possibly hinting at a large theme for the upcoming season.
