If there is one song you listen to on this list, I hope Steve Lacy’s “Playground” is it. Just like Clairo, Steve Lacy is a young artist, but he is making a name for himself. And let me tell you, it seems as though this man can do it all. He’s a singer, songwriter, AND producer, and only 21 years old!. If you listened to Vampire Weekend’s new album Father of the Bride, you will recognize his name. “Playground” is fun and upbeat from the very beginning, and it will have you moving along to the beat the whole time. Lacy just released his album Apollo XXI, so if you have the time, give the whole record a listen! You won’t regret it.
