ICYMI: Zayn and Zhavia Hit All The Right Notes for "A Whole New World" Cover!

If you want to feel nostalgic, happy, and tender all at once, go listen and watch the enchanting “A Whole New World” music video by Zayn and Zhavia Ward, if you haven’t already.

Growing up with the song jingling in our ears, of course we want the cover to be just as shining, shimmering, and splendid. The duo has gifted us with a different contemporary take on the song, yet with the same magical essence.

The music video is directed by Philip Andelman and orchestrates Zayn and Zhavia singing the romantic song around New York. The former One Direction singer actually personally selected Zhavia, a former contestant on Fox's "The Four" singing competition, for the collaboration.

“The selection of artists, producer, and tonal direction was critical for the success of updating a classic song like this,” president of Walt Disney Studio’s Music & Soundtracks Mitchell Leib said in a statement. “Zayn’s vocals are like no other, and his artistic imprint immediately brought a contemporary and diverse presence.”

The duet will be featured on the film’s soundtrack as well as the end credits, similar toPeabo Bryson and Regina Belle’s original version from 1992. The soundtrack will also have “Friend Like Me,” performed by Will Smith (who plays Genie) and DJ Khaled. Looks like we are getting all our wishes granted in this beautiful soundtrack and live-action!
