Actor Joel Kinnaman played West Point grad and Army Special Forces Colonel Rick Flag in the first Suicide Squad film, and Gunn has recruited him for the follow-up. He was the leader of the team in their first go-round... well, more like their babysitter. Flag also fell in love with Enchantress’s human vessel Dr. June Moon, and it will be interesting to see where his head's at for the upcoming mission in the next film. He had a change of heart last film and began to trust the group of criminals he so despised in the beginning. Will he be the same, or will he treat the new members of the team the same as before? Since his time with the Squad, Kinnaman has starred in the film The Informer, the Amazon series "Hanna", and the upcoming AppleTV+ Series "For All Mankind".
