Meet The Cast of James Gunn's Revamped Suicide Squad!

Jai Courtney played the grade-A thief notoriously known for using deadly boomerangs. The character has been described as rugged, unpredictable, and a bit mouthy, to say the least. Courtney, notably known for starring in films in the Terminator and Die Hard franchise, took a back seat in the original, only being given a few wisecracking moments. Gunn knows how to spread the screen time and develop characters no matter how zany they may seem. According to the actor, the new director’s approach will be tonally different than the original, which will hopefully give Courtney more room to become the beloved Flash Villain. Courtney recently took to Instagram to show fans he was more than ready to get back with the Squad. 

Now that we know It: Chapter 2 director Andy Mushcetti is set to helm the solo Flash film, here's hoping, if all goes well here, we’ll get to see the Australian actor play the role taking on his comic arch-nemesis.
