K-Pop group SEVENTEEN has taken the world by storm ever since their debut in May back in 2015. First, they were memorable for being such a large group -- 13 members! Then, the audience learned about the group’s amazing synchronization, and lastly, their catchy music is what kept them coming back for more. Now, after almost 8 years in the industry, they are releasing their own concert feature film.

The 13-member group has been known to have concerts every year around their anniversary, which usually takes the name of CARATLAND; then, they have a separate tour by the name of their latest music release. The last in-person tour they had was Ode to You, named after their third full album.

Just last year, they had their concert, “Power of Love”, named after their last Japanese single, which was live-streamed online. This concert was 3 days long: November 14th held the “power” aspect of the event, November 21st was the “love” aspect, and the day in between was November 18th, “of” which was the Japanese portion of the concert. 26 total songs were performed all three days, including t4 encore songs. Each day was a little different from the last, while some songs were repeated, and the middle portion had a different performance or two. Meaning, you had to be there all 3 days to get the full experience. Jun and Minghao, the Chinese members, were unable to attend the concert since they were in China working on some other projects. But, even with only 11 out of the 13 members, the concert was a total hit!

HYBE and Pledis Entertainment, the two companies behind SEVENTEEN, decided that this concert was such a hit that they have awarded fans worldwide with the experience of watching the concert in theaters!

After the great success of BTS’s Permission to Dance feature film, SEVENTEEN is following suit and hopefully will do just as well.

The film will be showing April 20-22 in theaters around the world. The official website has all the theaters and the times for any fan that plans to watch the concert. Tickets go on sell today (March 17th) and will be sold until all spots are reserved.

Keep your eyes peeled on what is next to come for the popular group. There is new music being rumored later this year! Here is their last hit, “Rock with you”:
