Taylor is happy and in love, and it shows, but she still also delivers songs that remind you of the past and broken hearts. “Cruel Summer” is a banger, “Afterglow” is about the fear of messing up good things, and “I Forgot That You Existed” is the anthem for all our exes. She has taken her songwriting skills to the next level, and this is an era of Taylor I will listen to forever.
