Zac Efron injures wrist

Zac Efron has his wrist bandaged up again - almost a year to the day since he injured his hand in an alleged fruit-cutting injury.

Reports suggest the former High School Musical star was sent home from the set of new comedy Townies in Los Angeles after a medic, who checked out his injury, declared he wouldn't be able to carry on filming.

In April last year (12), the young hunk joked about an injury to his left hand when he showed up to the London premiere of his film The Lucky One sporting a bandage. He told curious reporters a fan had bitten him.

And it seems he's keen to keep fans in the dark about his latest injury - this time to his right wrist.

His publicists have refused to respond to WENN's requests for comment.
