willi.i.am and Kylie Minogue to pull double duty on The Voice
will.i.am and Kylie Minogue are to double their workload on TV talent contest The Voice after signing up to join both the Australian and British versions of the show.
The Spinning Around pop star was recently announced as the latest coach to join the U.K. show, and now she has confirmed plans to appear on the series in her native Australia as well.
Minogue will join The Voice Australia along with will.i.am, who has
been a coach on the U.K. show since its debut in 2012.
The singer insists she is delighted to be returning home, saying,
"(I am) so excited to be coming home and being a coach on The
Voice. I look forward to spending time in Australia, getting up
close and personal with new talent and working alongside the three
amazing artists."
The stars replace Australia's outgoing judges Delta Goodrem and
Seal. They will appear alongside Ricky Martin and Joel Madden Down
Under, while their co-stars in Britain will be Sir Tom Jones and
rocker Ricky Wilson.
