Warrant issued for Redmond O'Neal's arrest

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Redmond O'Neal, the son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, after he violated his probation.

The 30 year old, who has battled drug addiction since his teens and has been in and out of jail and rehab clinics for years relating to substance abuse crimes, was on probation stemming from a 2011 drugs and weapons charge.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith L. Schwartz revoked his probation in April (15) and issued a no bail bench warrant for his arrest after Redmond's probation officer reported an unspecified violation, according to court documents obtained by People.com.

He is now being sought by police.
