Tyga to go back to school

Tyga is returning to his high school on Thursday (20Oct11) to talk to students following a fatal shooting in January (11).

The rapper, who is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label, will appear at California's Gardena High School, which he attended from 2004 to 2005.

Tyga's alma mater hit the headlines earlier this year (11) after a teenager's handgun accidentally went off in a classroom, injuring two other students.

Tyga, real name Michael Nguyen Stevenson, will give a motivational speech about the importance of hard work and education as part of his ongoing campaign Tyga R.O.A.R. - Tyga Reaches Out And Represents.

According to AllHipHop.com, Tyga R.O.A.R. is an education initiative aimed at helping underprivileged youths.
