Tom Daley: 'I'm dating a man'

British Olympian-turned-TV star Tom Daley has revealed he is in a relationship with a man.

The 19-year-old diving star, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics and went on to front U.K. reality TV show Splash!, revealed his news in a video posted on YouTube.com.

In the clip, Daley speaks about his sexuality and explains how he struck up a new relationship with a man earlier this year (13).

He says, "In spring this year my life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy. It did take me by surprise a little bit, it was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn't until spring this year that something just clicked. It felt right. My whole world just changed right there and then. I'm dating a guy and I couldn't be happier."
