Justin Timberlake has added his tribute to tragic IndyCar star Dan Wheldon, who drove the singer/actor's William Rast-sponsored car.
The 33-year-old died after his car was flipped into the air during a 15-vehicle Indy 300 pile-up in Las Vegas on Sunday (16Oct11).
Wheldon was driving a car backed by Timberlake's William Rast
clothing company, and the SexyBack hitmaker has paid a touching
tribute to the driver.
In a statement, he says, "I was deeply saddened to hear the news of
Dan Wheldon's unfortunate and untimely death. He was a great driver
and a strong supporter of William Rast Racing. My thoughts and
prayers are with his family in their time of loss."
