Tidal issues apology for botching Madonna's video launch

Representatives for Jay Z's music streaming service Tidal issued a public apology after the launch of Madonna's highly-anticipated new video was blighted by technical problems.

The Material Girl, who is among the stars backing the rapper's latest venture, chose the site for the big launch of her star-studded promo for new single B**ch I'm Madonna, which features Katy Perry, Beyonce, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus.

However, eager fans who flocked to Tidal to view the clip were left disappointed as technical glitches meant they were unable to load video, and the botched launch prompted bosses of the service to issue a public apology.

The message, posted on Tidal's Twitter.com page, reads, "We apologise to all the fans excited to watch the #B**chImMadonna video, we're working on a fix. We'll have it up and running soon."

They eventually managed to fix the problems and later added, "#B**chImMadonna is now ready for you. Thanks for your patience."

Madonna has yet to comment on the botched launch.
