Theo Rossi is a first-time father

Former Sons Of Anarchy star Theo Rossi has become a dad for the first time.

The actor's wife Meghan McDermott gave birth to a son called Kane Alexander on Monday (08Jun15), his representative confirms to Us Weekly.

Rossi previously told the publication that their son was due on his 40th birthday on 4 June (15), but their little one came as a belated birthday present.

He says, "My son Kane is healthy and my wife is a trooper and doing great. No one could have prepared us for the overwhelming joy we would feel when meeting our son. What a beautiful day to welcome our little king into the world."

Rossi revealed the baby news in April (15), and also confirmed they had recently tied the knot in an intimate New York ceremony.
