The Weeknd scores top two spots on Billboard singles chart
The Weeknd has scored a remarkable chart double after taking his Can't Feel My Face hit back to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
The R&B star now holds the top two spots on the new countdown after toppling Justin Bieber, who scored his first number one on the Hot 100 last week (ends11Sep15) with What Do You Mean?
The Weeknd's The Hills also rises a spot to two, making him the
first act to land the number one and two spots in the same week
since 2009 when the Black Eyed Peas ruled the chart with I Gotta
Feeling and Boom Boom Pow.
Iggy Azalea managed the feat in July, 2014, but she was only a
featured artist on Ariana Grande's Problem as her Fancy took over
at the top.
The Weeknd becomes only the 16th act in the Hot 100's history to
claim the top spots simultaneously.
His success on the singles chart is mirrored on the new Billboard
200 album chart as Beauty Behind the Madness scores a second week
at number one.
