Lil' Wayne ordered to pay $2 million for private jet
Lil' Wayne has been ordered to hand over nearly $2 million in unpaid fees for his private jet, according to a report.
The rapper lost a lawsuit brought against him by bosses of Signature Group, a company that leases private jets to celebrities.
They sued the Love Me hitmaker last year (14), claiming he had not
paid any bills during the first two years of his three-year
deal.
Wayne insisted he had never signed a contract with the group, but
the court disagreed and ruled in favour of Signature, ordering the
rapper to pay $1 million in the settlement.
However, he has still refused to pay the bill, and now the figure
has ballooned to $1.8 million, with an added $200,000 in legal
fees, according to TMZ.com.
A representative for Lil' Wayne has not yet commented on the
report.
