The Saturdays in trouble over visa pictures
The Saturdays faced the wrath of US immigration officials after it emerged they had used airbrushed photographs on their visa applications.
The pop stars recently spent time in Los Angeles filming a reality TV show, but singer Mollie King has revealed their work abroad was thrown into jeopardy when authorities caught them using digitally enhanced pictures on their immigration documents.
She tells British talk show host Alan Carr, "We were all in a queue
and the worst thing was when I went up first to sort out the visa,
the man looked down at the picture and goes, 'Excuse me, ma'am, but
has your photo been digitally enhanced?'"
Her bandmate Rochelle Humes adds, "So then we had to trek off to
the local chemist to have normal ones done."
The pictures which were used on the forms showed the singers
sporting bare shoulders, which also constituted a breach of
regulations, and singer Frankie Sandford jokes, "So if anybody
wants to be naked on their passport photo, then don't do it - we
tried."
