The Horrors scrap US and European tours

British rockers The Horrors have scrapped a series of US and European dates due to circumstances beyond their control.

The She is the New Thing band, led by Faris Badwan, has promised to reschedule the gigs for next year (15).

A statement reads: "Dear friends, family, supporters, deadly sworn enemies and others, Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to reshuffle our US and European tours at the end of this year. We can only apologize to anyone who already has tickets to the dates affected - we hate canceling shows but this situation was unavoidable. We'll be back on the road next year and make sure we return to all the places we missed on this run."

A UK tour scheduled for September and October (14) is still planned.
