Teresa Palmer still reeling from awful movie experience on Jumper
Actress Teresa Palmer was relieved when she was replaced in Jumper, because she had a terrible experience on the film set.
The Warm Bodies star was just 19 when she landed the role in the time-traveling drama, and she still can't believe what was asked of her as she started shooting with director Doug Liman and stars Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson.
"There has been things on this movie that were sexist and not
professional at all," the Australian actress told Grazia magazine.
"I cannot believe, today, that as a 19 year old girl, I was put in
such an awful situation.
"It's the biggest relief that I got replaced on this movie. For the
two or three months I was attached to it, I could not sleep, I
thought I was losing my mind... and I decided to quit and go back
to Adelaide."
Palmer has put director Liman and the producers, and perhaps even
her co-stars, on alert after revealing she'll chronicle exactly
what went wrong on the film set at some point.
"One day I'll tell the whole story, which is one of the crazy
Hollywood stories," she said.
The actress was replaced by Christensen's girlfriend Rachel
Bilson.
