Taylor Swift is celebrating sailing past 100 million song sales by releasing her entire back catalog on all streaming services tonight.

Officials at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced she had passed the mark on Thursday (08Jun17) - the same day the singer learned her album 1989 had sold over 10 million copies globally.

"In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 million albums worldwide and the RIAA's 100 million song certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalog available to all streaming services tonight at midnight," a tweet from her official fan account read.

The news comes two years after the pop star wrote an open letter to Apple Music bosses, in which she detailed her dislike of streaming services. The executives changed their payment policies immediately and Taylor has since forged a partnership with them.

Ironically, Taylor's pop rival Katy Perry will also be dropping her new album Witness on streaming services at midnight on Thursday.

In a new interview, Katy accused Taylor off attempting to "assassinate my character" in the song Bad Blood.
