Taylor Swift helps Ed Sheeran celebrate dating milestone

Taylor Swift threw a mini-party to celebrate the relationship milestones of good friends Ed Sheeran and Abigail Anderson during her Fourth of July bash.

The Shake It Off singer hosted her annual Independence Day party at her Rhode Island mansion over the holiday weekend (02-04Jul16) with a large group of friends including Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Ruby Rose, and Cara Delevingne.

Guests have all begun uploading pictures from the event on social media, and the snaps reveal that Ed Sheeran was in attendance with his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, and Taylor helped them mark their one-year dating anniversary with a party, which was also held to celebrate her childhood friend Abigail's recent engagement.

Taylor posted a picture to her Instagram account showing her hugging Abigail while her fiance Matt is stood behind them. In the background of the picture, Ed can be seen kissing Cherry.

The room was also kitted out with homemade banners which read, "Abigail and Matt (heart) engaged!", "Happy 1st Ed-iver-Cherry!" and "Happy Annievercarry (sic)!"

In the caption, Taylor writes, "'Love actually is all around.' Congratulations guys (heart) @abigail_lauren @teddysphotos," while Abigail posted the same photo and added, "When there's literally so much love around your only option is to make a room for all of your love banners & sing love songs to each other. @taylorswift we LOVE you! Kudos to @teddysphotos for the photobomb of the year."

Ed has been on a break from music and social media since Christmas (15) and has never spoken about his relationship with his old school friend, Cherry. In the social media pictures, he is also seen jamming in a studio with Taylor and Orange is the New Black's Uzo Aduba during the party.

Abigail announced her engagement last month (Jun16) on Instagram by sharing a picture of her kissing Matt.

Taylor also made her first social media appearance with new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston - her good pal Britany Maack posted a picture on Instagram showing Taylor sat on Tom and resting her forehead on his. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and Britany and her husband are also in the snap.

Another photo posted by model/actress Cara shows Taylor clutching onto Tom as they slip down a water slide together.
