Taylor Schilling: 'Argo was career highlight despite axed scenes'

Taylor Schilling has called her role in Argo a career highlight, even though most of her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.

The Orange Is the New Black star played Ben Affleck's wife in the 2012 film, which he also directed, and admits she had a great time with the actor, although her part in the drama was drastically reduced.

She says, "Most of it got cut! I was in the last scene of the movie and it was an incredible experience. I love Ben Affleck so much, he's an amazing director and his wife (Jennifer Garner) was so generous to me when the role got cut.

"It won Best Picture and I wasn't in it! But honestly to be in a movie that won Best Picture at the Academy Awards... It's one of the highlights of my career so far. Really, it was incredible."

Affleck's Argo also picked up Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing.
