Soulja Boy hit with gun charge

Rapper Soulja Boy has been slapped with a gun charge stemming from his arrest in California in January (14).

The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hitmaker was detained after cops pulled over his car in the early hours of 22 January (14) on a minor traffic violation.

The officers allegedly found a gun in the car, and now he has been hit with a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm, according to TMZ.com.

The hip-hop star, 24, has reportedly claimed the gun belonged to a neighbor who borrowed the car.
