Singer Pia Toscano is engaged

Former American Idol finalist Pia Toscano is engaged.

The 27-year-old's dancer/choreographer boyfriend Jimmy R.O. Smith popped the question to Pia late last year (15), and earlier this month (Jan16) Smith took to Instagram.com and posted a photo of himself and his new fiancee ringing in the New Year, as she showed off her massive sparkling engagement ring.

"The #NewYear countdown with my future Mrs. SMITH," Jimmy wrote. "A toast to topping every year we've all ever lived... #ourlastnewyearcelebrationsingle #MrandMrsSMITH."

Both Pia and Jimmy currently star in Jennifer Lopez's new Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino - Pia sings backup vocals while Jimmy takes the stage as a dancer.

Pia previously dated Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas, who recently became engaged to longtime girlfriend, singer BC Jean.
