Sick Tristan Wilds to miss 90210 filming

90210 star Tristan Wilds was hospitalized last month (Feb12) after falling sick with Valley fever and he's set to miss filming on the hit teen TV show as he recovers.

The actor has contracted coccidioidomycosis, also known as Valley fever, which is a fungal infection common to California, and he will be missing from several episodes of the show to allow him time to get better.

Wilds confirmed his health crisis in a series of posts on Twitter.com, revealing he was treated in hospital and was discharged late last month (Feb12) to continue his recovery at home.

He writes, "(It is) something like pneumonia... it's called Valley Fever... I been in the hospital for the last 3 weeks... It's gonna be a while (before I get better)... I can't wait till I come back to set... Just nursing myself back to full strength. Valley Fever is a b**ch... Just tryna (trying to) beat this Valley Fever s**t, but, I'm good."
