Sick Sky Ferreira delays video shoot

Sky Ferreira has postponed work on her latest music video because she has been struggling with "health issues" and needs "time to get better".

The singer had been due to release the promo for her new song Guardian next month (Aug15), but she has now revealed the shoot had to be rescheduled because she has not been well enough to work.

Ferreira has not disclosed the cause of her health problems, but has assured fans she will be back in business in August (15).

In a post on her Tumblr.com blog, she writes, "I originally planned on releasing the video for Guardian sometime in August. Due to everyone's schedule it was impossible to do so without having to compromise the video in some way... We are making it in August!... I had a bit of health issues within the last few months so I needed to get better before I started releasing & playing shows again without complications... Anyways, it IS coming soon & it is going to be nothing less than amazing."

The news comes just weeks after the singer took to Twitter.com to air grievances with her record label bosses, accusing them of ripping off her videos by recreating them with other artists.
